I started at 9 this morning, and finished at 2 this afternoon. All new recipes, I have never tried. I think my fave is the bavarian mint fudge. If I had known making fudge was that easy, let me tell you. The kids decorated the sugar cookies, and we all had fun baking together.

Jenn asked me today if I had looked back a year in photos, to see where I have come regarding my fitness goals. I hadn't. So, I did. I think its cool to see. It has been slow, so slow. I am down 28 lbs from a year ago, that sounds good right? I am also now a blue belt in karate. So here's to some progress, and here's to the next 30 lbs coming off... stay tuned. I guess I won't go and eat a second rice krispy square that Ben and I made today ;)
When I saw the picture of Rose and I, after I had uploaded it that day, I was so shocked, and therefore jumped into goal setting.

We just celebrated our 9Th wedding anniversary. I can't believe how fast the years are going by. My Mom offered to babysit, which was so kind. We went out for Greek, had dessert, and then walked around Walmart. Was so nice to be just the 2 of us.
My Dad came and did a photo shoot, so I thought I would post these with my anniversary post.

The winner, Canada's Idol... Brian Melo.
She seems so sweet. And what a voice!!
Member this guy? He was one of the contestants, cant rememeber his name.
Liv was embarrased when I pushed her into a photo with, "someone I dont even know!!!"
Again, I have been inspired by Heidi. I dont know how to fix my links, I will wait till she learns, and then ask her.
Whats new lately...
Last night Olivia and I went to the Canadian Idol winners tour concert. It was so great. We had awesome seats, 4th row. I wasnt a big fan of JD Bixby while I watched the show, but he sure is an entertainer. The way he interacts with the audience was very cool. Carly Rae was great, her voice is absolutely amazing. Brian Melo rocked out the place. We were suprised to see Greg Nuefeld, he opened up, he was one of my faves on the show. We stood in line for 45 minutes waiting for the top 3 to sign their posters. Was a great night.
My daycare is almost up and running, so that is exciting. I am happy to be starting something that allows me to be home with the kids, and still bringing in an income.
Still looking to fill one more full time spot, so I will put that out there, if you hear of anyone looking...
Well, I had better hang this up so I dont burn dinner.

Try to ignore the craziness in the background, it gets pretty noisy around here sometimes, and most good funny times end with Ben taking it too far, and then getting in trouble ;)
