remember the post about a week ago, where I showed a picture of Ben all muddy? Well her is part 2.
I stripped him of his clothes, outside in the back. With the full intentions of hosing off the dirt, and cleaning them.
But did I?
No.
Fast forward to today, I walk past this pile of clothes, that is absolutely FILTHY, and wet from all the rain and snow we have had. So I pick up the 3 item pile of his clothes.

Now, those who know me well, will know that I am very much an arachnophobic (spell checker tells me this is not a word, I beg to differ). Spiders scare me. I start shaking when I have no choice but be the one to rid it from my home. Really though, I have this awful fear, that I can't rationalize. I KNOW I am bigger than them. It doesn't even matter.

On with the story:

I pick up said pile, and I kid you not, there had to be 127 creepy crawly/spiders/centipedes/earwig looking things, under my boys clothes. It was like on Lion King, when Pumba overturns the rock to show Simba all the 'grub'.

I was traumatized. Being the only adult at home, I was forced to face it head on, shake the life out of the clothes, and wash them.

I was shaky, my skin was crawling for the next hour.

On other news, I got a call today that Ben was bumped off the wait list, and is in the pre school I wanted for him! I am so happy. This school has a wait list all the way to the 2009/2010 school year. (I added Brody to the list for that year, how much does that make the time fly for him?)
So that was fun news.

We have a date coming up that I just found out about today. My sweet Mummy, is going to come stay here for the night on my birthday, and we are going to have a night away!! Woot woot! How exciting, I can't wait.

Ok, bye.

I have a little fear now of spiders too from this past september. I went to bed with my window open and the screens in this old house don't fit the windows. Well I was asleep with Kailey sleeping in my bed (Shawn was out of town) and I went to move Kailey's hair off of me (I thought it was her hair) and when I went to push the "hair" off my neck it crawled back on my neck. This spider was so big ( and this is no fish story) that I thought it was some type of mouse or mole. When I flung it across my room, it hit the wall and made a splat sound. I have never screammed and been so scared in my entire life and it was all over a huge spider. Lesson to all, don't sleep with the window open unless you have a proper screen!

think it starts at 7:20pm, so early.
At least I'm not the only night owl out there; but seriously I don't get any other time to myself then after the kids are in bed or when Thomas is taking a nap.

I fear spiders too, they make my skin crawl. I remember when I lived in Port Hardy and we lived in an apartment. There was a spider on the window and I thought it was on the outside so I hit the window and I got spider guts on my hands. SO GROSS!!!

Fabulous news, Oh about the preschool and the date night. I know that your fear is real so forgive me for laughing quietly at the "127" not "120" or "100".
Very cute.
